Hi,

I'm actually a returning player, but it's been ages. Trying to find a weekly game, checked the bookings, seems like Monday and Tuesday aren't too busy.
You play at the Yard, from 7pm correct?

I was thinking of just dropping by, probably next week, both Monday and Tuesday and check the games out.

Hi Mario, on Mondays DM Gaz is running an excellent D&D Dark Sun campaign which is actively looking for a new 5th player. He's on holiday now for three weeks but I'm sure he'll be checking the forums at some point.

Thanks for letting me know, I'm actually a huge Dark Sun fan, ever since 2nd edition, when TSR first launched the boxed set, so that would probably be a good option for me.

Gaz here, Adam was posting on my behalf as I wasn't sure I'd get chance to send a message before I went away. That's great you are a fan as the campaign is set in original boxed set timeline when Kalak is still alive and very much the mad tyrannical tyrant he always was meant to be before Troy Denning killed him off and made Tyr 'safe'. I am away on Friday for three weeks so our first game back will be May 9th. If that suits then would love it if you could join. It's standard practice that we would get you to take on an NPC for a few sessions while we work out a character for you and then once that is done you are set. No other prior knowledge required but of course if you know DarkSun all the better. The campaign is city focused with the occasional forays into the wilderness and roleplaying in most cases over roll-playing :) ruleset is 4e with a few fun houserules which give plenty more roleplaying opportunities.
