Need a new player for 4(ish) weeks? I'm your person!

Hello, 

Thank you again for letting join your group, even if only online. My name is Hayley and I am a student studying abroad. I have been here for a few months already, but I leave the UK late this April. With that being said, I would love to play some RPG games if anyone is looking for an extra player: weather it be in a one-shot or a visiting character in an ongoing campaign, etc. 

My experience is mostly with Character/Quest based RPG's such as D&D (3.5, 5e, etc.) and Pathfinder, and I'm always down to be a beta gamer if anyone is trying out a new game component. 

If anyone is in need of a good game, some mediocre laughs, and new friendship: please feel free to message me! I'm only around for a short time after all and I really do miss my gaming community from the States.

Hi Hayley

Welcome to the group! Did you have a preference for what night you wanted to game on? I currently DM a long running (5 1/2 years and counting) game of 4e DarkSun (swords and sandals with a bit of dark horror thrown in to boot). Our game is laid back with a healthy mix of roleplaying and (as it's 4e) strategic rolling of dice, but even that we try to mix it up as much as possible. I can offer a couple of weeks stand-in play if that takes your liking on a monday night? One of our players just had to quit due to changing jobs so there is room for someone to jump right in to an existing PC (a half-elven shadow assassin who is trying to reform his previous evil ways!) else there are a couple of other NPCs travelling with the group which require very little knowledge of the system and background of the campaign. At the moment they are trying to escape from a particularly dangerous section of the under-city with all kinds of nasties trying to make sure that doesn't happen, again, no prior knowledge required. I am on holiday (ironically going to the states myself) from the 18th April, so as I mentioned above I can only offer you 2 weeks before you leave, but if you are up for it then give me a shout and i'll introduce you to the rest of the group otherwise i'm sure any of the other DM's on here would be happy to let you join in for whatever time you have left.

Thank you so much for the kind offer! I hope the states treat you well! I would love to join you and your group whenever the next time you meet (when you get back from the states, correct?) 

My schedule is in a constant fluctuation due to it being updated weekly; I don't know exactly if I will be free on Monday's, but I will 100% try my hardest to join you!

It would be my preference to take-over a NPC; I tend to get into my characters, and I wouldn't want to ruin a group dynamic by besmirching a really cool sounding half-elf assassin! However, if that is what your game requires then I can jump into his character too. 

Just let me know when you plan on meeting next!

Hi Hayley

I'm actually in the states from the 15th, so we are still planning to game for two more weeks (April 4th and 11th). If your schedule permits we'd be more than happy if you were able to join us. Let me know and I can email you accross the two NPCs in the party so you can see who you might be interested in picking up, there was no pressure to take on the existing character its just another option, am flexible either way as its always great to have more folks at the table.
