Just a guess here on Missy on Doctor Who.

Basically the the valeyard was/is the darker side of the doctor who was thought to be I between the 12th and 13th incarnation of the time lord the valeyard in is the 6th doctors series

I also think it would be pretty awesome if the promise land was Gallifrey
