Hello to everyone. I am very excited to be here.

I see that Django localization for the Uzbek language is poorly managed and improved. So I wanted to be part of this team and help to improve Django localization in the Uzbek language. I have also applied to https://www.transifex.com/django/django/, but have not received any notification yet. Please if there is not an active team for the Uzbek language. It would be an honor for me to represent my country's language and help to promote Django in our country.

Hi,

I'll suggest you try to estbalish contact to the current Uzbek
coordinator to ask him if he still has the motivation to coordinate the
team.
Meanwhile I added you as a translator so you can immediately start to
translate.

It is still time to include your language in Django 3.0 if you make good
progress soon (core should be near 100%).

Happy translating!

Claude

Thank you very much Claude,

I am happy to be a member of the team. I contacted him and waiting for his response.

Hi Claude,

I hope you are well.

I am writing to move on with the issue of the inactive team coordinator.

I am curious, about how to proceed then, and how he has to confirm on giving me the right to be a coordinator. Also, now I have a community of Uzbek Django developers and several of them also applied for team-membership to translate in transifex.  If we could add some of them to the team, we could boost Uzbek language development in transifex and that would be really great indicator for our Uzbek community to develop further and also for Django community to promote itself in a more international level.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Let me know If I need to provide any other information or clarification for my words. I would be really happy to help and assist you further.

Sincerely,
Bedilbek Khamidov

Hi Bedilbek,

Considering the absence of reaction of the current coordinator, I'll
grant you as co-coordinator! Even if generally I prefer having
confirmation by the current coordinator that the change is fine for him.

Thanks for your commitment!

Claude
