Recently , I am developing a web app with webrtc.
I found that the audio feedback sound is so loud, and it seems there is no javascript api to control it.
This usually happens when you use a laptop without a headphone,
There are articles on google about webrtc echo cancellation
However ,I found it no help.
This is a key issue,   if audio is not good,  webrtc would be nothing but a web failure.

Anyone studying on this?
Please help.

Could you file a bug here:

Describe how you're testing and what OS, machine and audio devices you're using. Make a recording of the problem occurring (on the machine generating echo) using:
chrome://webrtc-internals
(click "Enable diagnostic audio recordings")

Hello,

I have elucidated the problem of the noise. It comes from AECM comfort noise generator. If you enable AECM without CN generation the background noise is gone completely.

Unfortunately I still have the feedback issue.

The echo cancellation seems to fail even on a single self call at https://apprtc.appspot.com.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. go to https://apprtc.appspot.com
2. Hear a loud noise

I am on Version 26.0.1371.0 canary.
System:

MacBook Pro 13-inch.
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
Processor 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB

That's not the same problem. I've followed up in the bug; let's redirect further comments there.

Feedback is quite different to echo cancellation.

Perhaps you have not properly muted the playing of audio on local video element. If not, sound from the local microphone will loop back through the local speaker and cause audible feedback.
This a very common first issue.

alread muted

It is not the root cause

You could try on apprtc  or  talky.io

They have the same problem.
