Hi,

I know that the Presenter's mouse has been added to  (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=173265), but there is any plans to implement a way of capture the mouse position of any the participants?

I am working on a online collaboration tool, and this is one very desirable feature.

Regards,
RDL

You can get the mouse position via JavaScript easy enough.

That is true if you want to get the whole screen (via canvas), but in the where the chrome.desktopcapture API is used, to select a specific application, how can you do it without requiring native App? How to get the coordinates for the specific application been shared?

Best regards,
RDL

I think Ricardo is saying that if WebRTC captures an application window, there is no way, from JavaScript, to get the mouse position relative to the captured region.

There is no API for this, although I suppose you could try to capture the whole screen and scan the bitmap for the cursor...
