Carl,

I interested in installing Tiny G on a generic arduino and getting all the motion pin-outs
including spindle pins.

Has this been done? What's a candidate/minimal spec and where do I find the docs to
find the pinouts? I'd probably use something from Sparkfun.

Or, has/does Synthetos offer one?

Thanks, Gregg

Well, if you mean an Arduino Uno, then you are stuck with GRBL software(as far as I am aware, mmight be others) and GShield (3 motor drivers)
There is a port of the tinyG firmware to the Arduino DUE platform, it is called tinyG2.
Start with the Wiki here:

Carl,

Thanks - that looks like what I was looking for.

No, I don't care about which hardware, though I haven't payed with a Due. Is the
"official" Due the only candidate?

G2 runs fine on a SainsSmart DUE clone.

Other folks are building custom boards based on the SAM3X8E,
I am not aware of other available platforms
