'sub-graphs on' GCylc option in version 7.8.0?

hi there

re this option...


Should this work at version 7.8.0? 

at niwa this version is activated by loading the cylc module on māui but when I use this option in my gcylc.rc file the GUI doesn't load.

any ideas?

Hi Jonny,

It works for me (just tested).  Note the option is off by default - are you sure you've turned it on in your config file?

Solved off-line.  For the record, Jonny was trying to start "cylc gui" with "rose suite-gcontrol", which detected that the target suite was running at cylc-7.7.2 and so invoked the GUI at that version ... which did not understand the new 7.8.0 "sub-graphs on" config item (but the resulting cylc gui error message was hidden because the Rose command started the GUI with "nohup")... using multiple versions at the same time can get complicated!!!
