Hi,

If I edit a submitted form using the "Edit Form" option, does the edit reflect on the app?
I tried to submit a couple of forms and than I made some edits using the "edit form" but the edits do not reflect on the app. Is there a way to make it happen?

Thank you very much!

Hi Alberto. Have you synced with the server since editing those submissions? You will need to do that in order for the changes made on HQ to show up on the phone.

If the form updates a case then any change to the case will be synced to the mobile devices.

I would caution against using 'Edit Form' for any core workflow since it does have some limitations as described here: https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Edit+Form+Submissions

I just added another limitation - you may need to perform a user data reset on the device to see the updated data. Do ensure that you fully sync with server before doing this or you may lose data.
