If you use an old deployment code will it still update to the latest version or will it statically stay at the version associated with that deployment code?

Hi,

Your question depends a bit on what you mean in particular by deployment, as there are a few moving parts in a commcare deployment (the Android Software, your App config, etc).

If you are referring to your app on HQ, if you install a specific release/build of your app onto a phone and have the app set to automatically update from the Application Settings page, the app will attempt to update once every day or once every week (depending on the setting) to any version which has a larger version number and has been "starred" on the releases page.
