Hi CoBirders;
I found an American Dipper today east of the Lowell Blvd. bridge over Clear Creek. This is a regular spot for them in Adams, showing up almost every winter. The colder weather, the better.

I don't know the area. Any tips on best place to park, and approx how far east from Lowell?
Thanks,

Park on the East side of Lowell in the parking lot south of Clear Creek that feeds the bike route.  The area where the bird is often found is along the creek from  lowell east to the several overpasses about 100 meters to the East.

Hi susan
Charlies directions are good. Where I saw the bird on Saturday can be seen from the Lowell bridge, looking east. Below and around the I-76 bridges, 150 meters  from Lowell is another good place to look.

Thank you both!
I've seen Dippers, but I thought this year maybe I'd pick one up for Adams County.
