Mx - Algorithmic Composition on Clojure, core.logic & JMusic by Oscar Riveros

The possibilities are endless ... Take it as a template ... algorithmicamente try modifying or creating their scores ... Have fun ... It's a great start ... Mx is: Clojure, core.logic & JMusic has the same capabilities as Strasheela by Torsten Anders ... Automated: Counterpoint, harmonization, Serial, Math, Music etc ... only knowledge is the DEADLINE ... :D

Hi Oscar,

Looks, and sounds very interesting. Could you tell us a bit more about how it works please? Or some pointers into what the code does?

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi thomas'm preparing a tutorial on how to use the group ... Mx: Clojure core.logican JMusic ...

In the video I created a Extractor ... that extracts from a MIDI structure needed to compose music ...

But Soloa proof of concept mode ... as the final idea is to create our own scores based on algorithmic techniques ... such as automatic counterpoint ... serial composition ... etc ... and those things that you know very well ... : D

I hope to finish soon the tutorial I'm building ... so is the concept clearer ...

My method of teaching is based on curiosity ... no delivery of knowledge ... but I think it means that ...

Well greetings .. many from chile ... : D

(sorry my bad English ... I speak Spanish ...)
