Hi

We should do a small website for the project. Any volunteers suggestions?

Pedro.

I can put one together. What sort of content would it have?

Too bad clearskies.org and clear-skies.org are taken.

Any ideas on the domain name?

Dima.

That's unfortunate. Should we skip the domain as some of us have a domain or rebrand for a name that's not taken?

Pedro.

For now we could just host it on github pages. I also have some short
nonsense domains where we could use a subdomain (for example, the old
tracker is running at clearskies.tuxng.com).

Until we start making releases I think the github projects are probably
sufficient. Right now we want to attract the attention of more
programmers, and they will already be comfortable with the github interface.

P.S. I am planning on reworking the clearskies README to have a more
direct call-to-action asking for contributions to the clearskies_core
repository, as outlined in [1]. Now that the clearskies-ruby code isn't
in the repository file listing, the github file listing looks empty.

I just came across the project today and have been doing a lot reading on it. I am very interested in the project and would like to help, unfortunately I can't program but have some experience making websites.
I would be more then happy to help make a website for ClearSkies.

A simple website with project info and a developers blog would be quite nice, in my opinion.

I did something with github pages. Have a look...

Would you mind sharing a direct link? I'm new to github and still struggling to find my way around.

They are based on the MD files. There's a gh-pages branch where you can modify this. But uses the markdown files in master iirc.
