Anyone have any info on what was going on today midday 6-18-14?

A motorcycle thief stole a nice black motorcycle, then was, if I'm not mistaken, chased, resulting in a tumble near Mt. Everest & Balboa. They caught the fellow hiding in a nearby yard and he's in the hospital now, under arrest. 

My details about the chase may be sketchy, so you might want to check one of the local news channels. I heard the story on KUSI News at 6pm.
