Is there life in cdi-unit?

Dear CDI-Unit community,


It looks like the project is standing still since the middle of 2018 - based on the status of releases, issues, and pull requests.

Is there life in cdi-unit?
Any plans?

Hi,
I'm afraid it's not something I'm working on. The company that I work for does not use CDI and I don't have time to support it.

Sean was involved at some point, but I'm not sure what his status is.

At this point it looks like someone would need to take over maintenance.

Hi Brin,

Do you accept an idea to create a cdi-unit organisation in GitHub and transfer development there?

IMO it is worth also to change the group Id of the project since jglue.org has been expired:

You should have received an invite.

Regarding the release It was mostly done ad hoc, If you want to be able to do this we'll have to contact Sonatype and get you access.

Things have moved on since the project was created. Perhaps it can be set up so that Travis can do this somehow?

I will check Sonatype's documentation first.

I have experience with publishing releases from Travis to GitHub.
That process is triggered by the published tag.

Though I have a doubt that's what we would like to do.
Let me check what facilities Travis provides for the release into Maven repositories.

I will create an issue for this.
