Congrats Chris, way to go! Awaiting your exam experience and journey..

Hi Group,

Does anyone know if we have to pass based on aggregate or pass individually in each of the 4 sections (Analyze, Develop, Implement & Optimize)?

Say if passing score is x (80% or whatever it is), and if one gets that score as aggregate of all 4 sections (a+b+c+d/4=x).. he passes or he has to score atleast x in each section?

Just trying to understand if one good section can offset a bad one or not.

Thanks
Vishal

Hi Vishal,
It's the aggregate number of points across all 4 scenarios, no offset.

@Vishal ,

Aggregated score should be 80. Even if you get 100 in one section but total below 80, you will fail.

Congrats Chris! What i can say after one year being ccde, is that ccde gives you an invaluable tool when facing customers technical discussion. It gives you a standing and a confidence that really helps, not for all topics of course, but it comforts me every time.
Enjoy!
Ciao

First of all Congrats to Chris, great achievement

Now Vishal's question spawned a new question in my mind.  As we all know there are 4 sections in the lab exam, and there are 4 domains of expertise being tested (Analyze design requirements, Develop network designs, Implement network design, Validate and Optimize network design).  Now I am wondering : is each section mapped to a domain of expertise, say for example  section 1 = Analyze design requirements, section 2 = Develop network designs etc....  or else are all 4 of these domains embedded in each of the 4 scenarios !!!     The latter would be logical and make more sense to me but just checking !!  :-)

Cheers

@Yannick Yes 4 domains are mapped into every scenarios. So it should make sense :)
