Hi,

I wanted to reach out to the group to obtain any examples for the addition of a bimini to a C&C 34+.

I wish all members of C&C 34/36 group a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

I’m interested in this thread as well.  I am tempted to ask for a behind the boom bimini even though small since it will still provide coverage without interfering with the boom

I have a couple comments on this. I have what I would call a Y setup. This is where there is a centre bow and a bow on each side of it. The centre bow is straight up vertical. Our frame does not fold up neatly if you wish to close it and put an over over it. I sew and have made a few bimini’s. I just finished one of the Y style and hated it. I prefer the standard three bow style that folds neatly so a boot can go over it.

Jim. The boom is so far back, I wouldn’t think you would have room for any shade Bimini.

My boat came with a two bow Bimini.  I think I've used it twice (prior owners cruised; I primarily race and day sail).  I'm willing to sell it at a reasonable price.  Contact me if you're interested.

Photos of the Bimini up and frame closed are attached.
