Quiz API

Does anyone know when Quiz API will be rolling out in full?

I am able to create an empty quiz, add a question via API. But not able to add answer choices for Multiple Choice Questions. 

Is there a way to do that right now?

Ankit,

A jsonapi style api for quizzes is in the works and can be found in the docs marked as ‘beta’ (https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/). The api is currently still in flux and being used internally (dog fooding). It’ll be out of beta once we’re content that it is up to speed, performant and stable enough to be locked down.

Thanks Jason, much help. 

There are lot of aspects of quizes which dont seem to be there in API. Like saving a quiz after adding questions via API. is that supposed to be a manual step?

There may indeed still be parts of the api that are in progress, or still need to be written as it is still a work in progress (part of the reason for it being marked beta today). I would advise against making too permanent of a decision around what is there now as it is subject to changes still.

Now since most part of the Quiz API is out of beta, do we have better clarity on how to save quizzes by API.

I am building an app which does following steps via API.
1. Create a new quiz.
2. Populate it with questions.
3. Publish the quiz

However, the students do not start seeing questions unless the teacher manually goes to the quiz and clicks on 'save'. (Save is different from publishing).
How can I do this step of saving also using the API.
