As of today, and for the first time in my experience, Quicksilver is crashing every time it's loaded, whether at startup or post-crash. It seems (I can not be certain) to be hanging during Catalog refresh.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.8 on a three-year-old Mac Mini. Nothing much has changed in my system, certainly nothing in the past 24 hours since this started; at least nothing that I'm aware of.

Something that’s always worth a try in these situations is clearing caches. Quit Quicksilver, then run this in Terminal:

rm -r ~/Library/Caches/*Quicksilver

Or follow the steps in the wiki.

Thanks, Rob, for the quick response. Neither options (which I get should produce the same result) worked, unfortunately. Again, the crash seems to occur while QS is refreshing (rebuilding? re-scanning?) the catalogue (rotating arrow cursor in the lower right part of the frame). I'm putting this to bed and will look again tomorrow.
