Way too many processes

QS was acting funny for the last two weeks. I think it's because of the "Running Applications & Processes" source. It shows thousands of chrome helper processes. Is it enumerating all threads? Disabling it seems to make QA more snappy and so far it didn't crash.

Google Chrome uses one “Google Chrome Helper” for each Chrome tab (sometimes more). If you have lots of Chrome tabs then this is normal.

It’s true that the way QS handles running applications needs updating, but that’s already on the TODO:

In the activity monitor I see maybe 30 such processes, nothing close to the thousands I see in QS.
