Hi All-
Race to the Beach 2014 starts on Monday, June 2!!! You will be receiving an email today to forward (or modify if you so choose) to your coworkers announcing the Race. Please encourage them to register.
For anyone who participates next week (enters at least 1 clean commute), they will be put into a drawing for a Kindle Fire HDX!!
We believe the issues with the security of the website not allowing people to access the website have been resolved. Please try to log on/register at www.racetothebeach.com .
I am attaching a flyer that you can use with your coworkers and a "How to race" document to help with any confusion that may arise. Also, I would like to print you posters to promote The Race around your facilities. Please let me know:
· how many you'd like
· what size(s) (standard size is 36" high by 24" wide… I have horizontal posters, as well)
· where to deliver them.
I will send these to the printer tomorrow morning, so if you could let me know today, that would be great.
Lastly, if you haven't arranged for me to visit your facilities for a "cheerleading" event (table display, presentation, piggyback on an existing event), please let me know.

Thank you so much for helping to test the Race to the Beach website. Many of you had issues getting to the site or registering. This was due to our quite strict security settings that were put in place during the winter and spring. Because of your feedback, we were able to fix (hopefully) all of the issues you had.
I think all is well now. May I ask that you try to register again? You should be able to go to raceothebeach.com or www.racetothebeach.com . Some of you were successful registering, so it may not allow you to register again…please don't. For those of you that weren't successful, please try again.
I really appreciate all of your help and patience.
P.S: listen for our Race to the Beach radio ads that will start Monday and run for 2 weeks on several of the local radio stations! Let me know if you hear them :)

Hi Site Coordinators!
We are about to take the cover off of the RacetotheBeach.com website and open it for registration, but I was hoping that each of you could register on the site before we roll this out to your coworkers and the public to ensure there are no major issues with the site. We have undergone major security enhancements since last year to protect everyone's information to a greater level. And we need a little external help testing these enhancements.
It only takes about 1 minute to register, and it will give you the opportunity to learn how to register in case you receive any questions about the process from your coworkers.
If there are no major issues, you will be receiving emails shortly to forward within your business to explain Race to the Beach and encourage registration/participation.
