Sanity Check Failed

Hello All

I am having some Sanity issues here at Coventry (No change there!) :)

I have just built a new 0.9 server and followed the instructions for copying and reprocessing the recordings from our existing 0.81 server.

But when I run the bbb-record --debug command I get pages of errors similar to below:

/var/log/bigbluebutton/bbb-rap-worker.log.20150806:E, [2015-08-06T14:35:25.585553 #51303] ERROR -- : Sanity check failed on 293862cb26d6f6d7196f68bbbf383e30b90cfac8-1374737435279

Any help would be appreciated.

There should be some more details about what went wrong in the sanity
logs. Please take a look at /var/log/bigbluebutton/sanity.log to see
the details.

The most common causes for sanity check failing are if some of the
media is missing from the recording - for example if there are no audio
files - or if it cannot be read - for example, you got the permissions
wrong when copying files over.

Hello Again

I ended up running the processes again and got this error again:

rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1655) [generator=3.1.0]

But this time when I did a bbb-conf --debug, I only got the following error:

   -- ERRORS found in /usr/share/red5/log/* --
/usr/share/red5/log/bigbluebutton.log:2015-08-22 00:56:57,943+01:00 [pool-17-thread-1] ERROR o.b.w.v.f.a.PopulateRoomCommand - Not XML: [Conference 72790 not found]
 
Is this a problem or something I can fix?

Clive,

I don't know anything about rsync (which seems to be failing in your case), but that PopulateRoomCommand error can be ignored. It isn't actually an issue.
