Hello you lovely people!
I had a wonderful time at the CT Sea Music Festival last weekend. I am woefully late in getting myself up to Montville, ME for Maine Fiddle Camp kitchen duty, but life has been happening, and I am leaving later this morning, hopefully getting there in time for dinner. I'll be back sometime in the 6/22-24 timeframe, so will be missing the two June BIDA dances. :-(
We've got Will Mentor calling on Sunday, 6/15 at 7:30 pm (lesson at 7), to tunes from the fabulous BIDA Open Band! This is a mask-required dance.
On Sunday, 6/22, at 4:30 pm (lesson at 4), Liz Nelson will be calling to tunes from Windfish (Garrett Cameron, Perin Ellsworth Osanya, and Ben Hemmendinger). This is a mask-optional dance.
We need the following shifts filled :
6/15 Set-up; 6:15-7:30, 1-2 people,
6/15 Early door; 6:30-8 pm, 1-2 people,
6/15 Late door, 8-9 pm, 1 person.
6/22 Set-up; 3:15-4:30, 1-2 people,
6/15 Early door; 3:30-5 pm, 1-2 people,
6/15 Late door, 5-6 pm, 1 person.
You will be dancing the rest of the evening on us, plus getting a ticket for a future dance. For these dances only, please reply to Cindy Dill at
cindygold...@gmail.com, cc me just because, and let her know which shifts you can fill. If I get back on Sunday the 22nd, I will see you all at the dance. Otherwise, at our ultimate dance in July.
Much love to all,
Cheers,
Persis
