I have the travel edition of Hey! That's My Fish! which is great, but I notice that removing a tile from the interior of the grid can be a bit fiddly. It occurs to me that a small suction cup on a stick would be the perfect accessory. There might be other games that would benefit as well. What do you think?

You could try licking your fingers... but it probably won't help at all and whoever you're playing with will likely be grossed out.

I'd be wary of ruining the tile, though I have Sticky Stickz which is a whole game around picking things up with sucker cups on sticks and that is holding up remarkably well. I'd trade away HtmF and buy Jager und Sammler instead. :)

I faced the same problem and solved it simply by dividing out a bit of sticky tack to each player for picking up the tiles.  It's just enough tack to lift it up without worrying about damaging the tile.  I keep the tack in a little baggie inside the game box.  It works like a charm and takes up hardly any space.  Since utilizing it for Hey! That's my fish!  I've added a bit of sticky tack to any game box that has difficult to pick up components.  My Robinson Crusoe pieces are all in a little Plano container, but can be a challenge to pick out of the little compartments with my chubby digits.  Problem solved with a little piece of sticky tack.

(not sure if my original message made it...) I had the same problem with this little game and used...sticky tack
- it's small (therefore easy to fit in any game box--I put it in a small craft baggie)
- it works for any hard to lift components (especially out of little Plano storage compartments)
- it won't damage your components since it's not sticky, but just tacky.  I've never had it rip a component or lift the color off.
