Set default volume of Alsa

Whenever my BeagleBone starts up, the volume always seems to be somewhere around 40%. I open up alsamixer and increase the volume to 100% and all is good. However, is there a way to make the default volume always be set at 100%? (I know there is, but how?)

You could use alsactl to save your defaults and then reload them on boot.
