I am considering using the Beaglebone Black for a project that requires support for a CAN interface and will also need an LCD display with touch interface. Before purchasing a Beaglebone Black and appropriate capes, I am trying to confirm that there will not be a conflict between the CAN and LCD touch. Does anyone have a similar configuration and, if so, which capes are you using?

Well -- don't the pin-mux diagrams show which pins are LCD and which
are CAN?

The LCD capes will use additional pins to support the touch interface and any other I/O supported by the LCD cape, which is where the potential for conflict arises. So far, I have not been able to locate a CAN cape and an LCD cape that are able to be configured without such a conflict. I’m hoping someone else has been able to locate a combination that is compatible.
