I will be in Ponta Delgado on Aug 16 thru the 20th.
I have not been able to find my maternal grandmother. Her name is Maria Conceicao Aguiar. Born November 1, 1899 in São Miguel. I have no other information. Is there an index at the Bibliciao Archivo for me to look through or is there somewhere online.

You need to do more research in the U.S. (I assume) before jumping over to Europe. No, the archive has no type of island index. Everything in Europe (including Portugal and the Azores) is organized on the village level. You will find multiple Marias in all 70 churches on Sao Miguel. The records for 1899 are online at tombo.pt/en
You need Maria's birthplace and most likely her parents' names. For a list of ideas of where to start, try this:

You really need census work to see if you can figure out her immigration year. From that, you might be able to use the Passaportes LEAVING the Azores. However, the port of Ponta Delgada has missing records. So you may still need to use the other sources that I posted in the URL above.

Her parents never came to the US as far as I know.
My grandparents settled in New Bedford, Massachusetts and this is where all their children were born. All but one brother moved to Newman, California in the late 1940’s.

As I said, you need to get all the immigration years from the censuses where they asked that info. Search both the American and Azorean Passaportes (if it exists). That will be the fastest way, but will still take some time. Cheri

Start with the port where your Portuguese ancestor(s) arrived in the USA. Those records are the most recent other than births, marriages, and deaths in the USA. Then check the passport records from Sao Miguel for the year that they departed. Check all of the ports of call. If Maria [da] Conceicao Aguiar left as a child or wife, you need to search the father's or husband's name as the primary passport holder. Maria Conceicao is commonly spelled as Maria da Conceicao (Maria of the Conception). Ships registers usually just have Maria if she was a child.

Since they lived in newman, there are probably buried at hill view cemetery. Some cemetery records will show aalot of genealogy data. There may be comments left by individuals. Worth checking.

Tombo.pt lists the holdings for what exists at the the archives. Ponta Delgada has many gaps. You'll have to check.

July 23, 1913 - Maria Aguiar is #1625 from Ginetes and Antonio (Antone) Martins is#1635 from S. Antonio.

Maria d'Aguiar of this passport record was 16 years old and single. It does not make clear that she was traveling with family. She could have met up with family in the Americas. Assuming that her birth date of November 1, 1899 is correct, your ancestor would have been 13 years old if she had sailed on or around the date of July 23, 1913. The numbers do not match up.

Grasping at loose straws is never good. There really isn't enough time to find the information in a month. The chances of finding your freguesia before arriving in the Azores is slim. There's a lot of research to be done. Sorry, that's the reality of it :(

Where do we look next?
Don’t be concerned about my grandfather. I have all this info on him. I am just concerned on finding my grandmother.

I don't know. Elaine said you had all the info. So if you know your ancestor is from Ginetes, then that's your freguesia. Go to Tombo.pt on the date you have for Ginetes and find a few Marias.
You ancestor has a common name. I can find a few of them within 3 or 4 years of what you think your parameters are.

The marriage record says she is from Mosteiros, Sao Miguel, Azores. I don't know if it is a freguesia or not.

Gloria, you really need to do more research in the USA, naturalization if they/either one became a citizen, Alien records if not, baptisms of the children may have the home village. As Cheri and others have said over the years, Sao Miguel is a big island and has many villages. You did say they married in Mass. so I'm surprised that the civil and church record did not have the home village.

Both Ginetes and Mosteiros are neighboring towns/freguesiad in the Council of Ponta Delgada. Google it, the map will show exactly where in the Eastern part of the island of S Miguel

My grandfather did become a citizen but my grandmother did not. I have copies of all my grandfathers naturalization papers and there is not much help when it comes to information on my grandmother. As far as the birth certificates on my mother and her siblings. They were very generic showing just Sao Miguel Azores.
Their marriage certificate states he was from Sao Jose and she from Mosteiros.
I just get so confused when looking for documents on tombo.pt. I don’t speak or read Portuguese.

The link I provided explains the naturalization process with both 1st & 2nd papers. You have already written and received from the USCIS the FULL naturalization packet?
Mosteiros is a different freguesia than Ginetes. Just like Las Vegas is a different city than Reno. You are going to have to decide if she is from Ginetes as Elaine found on the passenger list or Mosteiros that you found on the marriage in America. On the marriage in America, the bride and groom are providing the info. Sao Jose is a church in the city of Ponta Delgada. I'm staying not to far from it and walk by it everyday.
The link that I provided also explains how to bumble your way through the records and provides key phrases. We are have a conference in June of 2019 (next year) where we will teach how to work Tombo.pt and "read" the records. You should go. You would learn a lot and have fun with us.
Also on the link I provided is a list of researchers for hire if you don't want to do it yourself. None of them would be able to "finish" your tree in a month however. They are probably working with other clients and would get to you in the order that they serve their clients.

I’m a little late to this thread , so forgive me if my comment has already been made. But, I noticed your comment about your grandparents’ naturalized. If your grandfather naturalized before 1922, his wife and children also became citizens without additional paperwork.

Gloria, Gayle is right about prior to 1922 all of the family under 18 (usually) became citizens along with DAD. When you say you have all his Nat. papers, was it after 1906 and if so did you ask for his Declaratioin of Intention? That is the paper (after 1906 when the Feds took over) that will have the most info not just his Naturalization paper.

Drives me nutso too! If you don't watch what you are typing it goes crazy! While proofing the Sao Jorge death records I keep seeing Luisa for Luis! I'm sure it's the autocorrect and not the typist!

There's the 1st AND the 2nd papers. They MOSTLY say the same thing, but not always. There's the Declaration of Intention the the Petition for Citizenship. If Gloria got ALL the papers, she should have received both. And if she asked for "any and all" she may have received even more.
