Hi,
I have made a flow to run an audio file as Alarm, but when I run it, I get this error message

java.io.IOException: setDataSource failed.: status=0x80000000

The audio file is .mp3 and it's in the internal Music folder, in the main memory.

Any tips?

Thank you

Ensure Automate has file access, i.e. grant the "access to manage all files" privilege in Automate settings.
Another common cause is that the audio format is not supported.

The file was a .MP3 not an .ogg as I wrote by mistake in the subject line

Hi,
I enabled the "access to manage all files" in settings (thank you for the tip!) but I still get the same error:

java.io.IOException: setDataSource failed.: status=0x80000000

However, the sound plays now!

Why do you think I still get an error?

Thanks.

How is the block configured?

The block is configured as below.
It's set as "Alarm" and I enabled all the permissions. Specifically, I need to enable WhatsApp to get through when the phone is on mute.

to Automate for Android
Due to the poos error reporting in Android is impossible to tell why it doesn't work, but it's likely due to Automate being unable to access the audio file, or it's of an unsupported format.
Instead of using the content:// URI, try using a file instead, e.g. something like Ringtones/mysound.mp3

Hi,

It worked. It took some doing but when the app could locate the audio file it worked fine.

Thank you very much for your help!
