Joining this CLT Group?

Hi,

Excuse my basic question - but does someone have instructions to join this group for someone that has never used google groups before?

I have a CLT contact in NSW that I want to link in to this group - but cannot explain how to join.  I have shared the google group link - but that has not worked?

Perhaps we can add this as a reference for others (as I am sure this is not the only person!)

Hi Carolyn

A basic but very important question :)

If they have a google account and are signed in, they can join by clicking "Join Group" at https://groups.google.com/g/australian-clt-network.

If they don't have a google account, they can send an email to australian-clt-n...@googlegroups.com from the email address that they'd like to use.

If all else fails, they can email me at l.crabtr...@westernsydney.edu.au and I'll add them manually.

I think I'll add this text to the group home page as well - thanks for the heads up.

Thanks so much Louise!  Yes if they don't have a gmail address it's not as easy as it appears!

This group is becoming very much a place of reference - and ORICoop continues to send early entry participants here to learn and connect.  Hope the CLT network may have a website soon - so we can evolve beyond this google group (and have more resources for those keen to learn etc)

Can someone confirm - is there a place that interested 'clusters' of house collectives can register?  To find others that might be looking to potential co-house in some form with?

We are looking at Moruya - Eurobodalla area - with others that are keen to grow food, live with autonomy, but also build collective value over time.  (we are exhaused farmers - looking to downsize!  LOL)

 - Keen to hear from others (like Karl) that are exploring this area.  Michael - perhaps a simple EOI on the website might help to find others?
