Hi
I am using MATLAB with APM. I watched youtube video on how to install Apache server and php. Successfully installed and tested as per instructions in the videos. However while running 'test_matlab' example (hs71.m), it did not solve. The reason I found is 'requested url not found on this server'. Can you please let me know how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance

Dear Jalesh,

Could you test that your server is working with http://localhost/ip.php  This should show your IP address at 127.0.0.1 or your Intranet address.

If you can't get the local server working, you are welcome to use the public server: http://byu.apmonitor.com

Even easier is to use Python gekko that lets you switch between remote and local solves with an option:

m = GEKKO(remote=True)  # or False

More information on Python Gekko that uses the same apm engine is here: https://apmonitor.com/wiki/index.php/Main/GekkoPythonOptimization and in the documentation: https://gekko.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

There is also a GPT4 model that is trained to help with Gekko questions: https://gekko.readthedocs.io/en/latest/support.html

I hope this helps.

Thanks John for your kind reply.
I checked   http://localhost/ip.php. It perfectly works.It shows  IP address at 127.0.0.1. I also checked http://apmonitor.com/ip.php and it also works perfectly. It shows the ip address as mentioned in the youtube video. All the steps mentioned in Apache installation youtube video and php7 installation  youtube video performed perfectly and tested as mentioned. However, when I tried to run test_matlab, it could not. IS IT BECAUSE OF THE MATLAB VERSION?

BY the way I am working on higher index DAE systems. Particularly state estimation and NMPC.

thanks and regards
