build error

I am trying to compile ape from git hub.

using ubuntu 12.4.3

get the following error

libape-spidermonkey.c:2936:1: warning: variable ‘g_ape’ set but not used [-Wunused-but-set-variable]

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ljs_static

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmysac

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

make: *** [modules] Error 1

any ideas

The first line is ok. Build twice in a row for the second error. For me it always solve it I don't now why.

I also encounter that issue on a test ubuntu machine and dont remember how i solved. But if louis suggestion does not solve it try install zip and build-essentials just in case.

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install build-essential zip
