Hello,

I just started playing with the new ngAnimate for 1.2x and I was in the dark for a few minutes of figuring out why my animations aren't working,

I was using a ng-class switch with open&closed as classes. Angular adds .class-add & XXX-remove to the animations, I made my CSS using that and still the animations would not work.

THEN, I saw on the element that had it's class changed a inline style: "transition: none; -webkit-transition: none" put there that would kill my animations.

Why is that there? I can't seem to find anything on the internet about this.

Thanks and have a great evening,
Arthur.

Hi Arthur,

I have the same problem. Angular adds style attributes with value "transition: none; -webkit-transition: none;".

Did you find a solution for this problem ?

Thanks.

Yes.
I had several issues, but the most important was that I accidentally had angular-mocks.js included in my current build, not in the testing one.

As soon as I removed angular mocks and other external transitions on the element I wanted to animate everything worked.

I had to do a lot of backtracking to find this out.

Hope it helps!

I also tried to remove absolute any  possible animation from all the elements and add animation only on the angular classes that were added (-add, active, enter, leave etc.)
