Hi all,

I am new to Angular.js and for that matter open source. Actually, I've recently started to work on JS.
I was going through some stuff and discovered about Angular and it caught my interest.

I would like to contribute to Angular.js. I went through "Getting started". Now, I am looking for some bug to start with.
I tried searching for a bug that might just be perfect for a newbie but could not find one. Is there any filter or something that helps with
the set of bugs which would suite a newcomer. Or can someone guide on where to start?

Sorry for the broadcast. Thanks.

Cheers,
Hrishit

Hi,

This document details the guidelines for contributing to angularjs. Have you seen it?

These are the open issues at the moment .  I'm not sure which would be suitable new a newbie, but the 'standard' process of forking the repo and submitting a pull request would apply.  If you are new to open source/git then those terms may be new to you, and the github collaboration guide would be a good place to start.

Thanks Justin. Yes, I went through these documents and was scanning through the issues list to find something suitable.
Sent out a mail to check if there's a better way to get to a list of bugs which might be suitable for newbies. Something like bugs with a mentor assigned or a bug that requires a simple fix. Any ways, I'll keep looking around for a starting point. Thanks for the help.

Cheers,
Hrishit

If you've just recently worked through tutorial, you probably have one good perspective to suggest edits and clarify phrasing. There is a button to edit the docs that, when clicked, forks it and let's you edit the page directly, then lets you make a commit to the project.

Pardon if I sound curt.

Thanks Andrew. But I am not the right person to edit content. Plus the Documents were really up to the mark. Whatever is there in the documents, I did not find it confusing at any place :)

Cheers,
