AngularJS API

Hi,

I am new to Angularjs. I need some information regarding Angularjs. Can we connect to the database using angularjs, without using any PHP/.Net/Java. replies/Answers are appreciated.

Only if your database exposes an interface to it.

E.g.: some databases have a RESTful interface built in

How can the database exposed to an interface.

regarding RESTful interface, i heard about MongoDB is the RESTful interface built in. is it true?.

I am a usual web developer. I dont have any idea about connecting to DB and stuff. but i am intrested in learning this concept. Can you help me with a tutorial u know and which is easy to learn for a beginner.
