I have installed android-x86 successfully by using guide of Draco Lockhard on this page: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/android-x86/D85Jq02cLrE

It works very well with the perfect performance (I used antutu benchkmark, its score was over 40k - surprise!). no lag at all, but I get trouble with the volume and location service.
  1. the volume is very small, its sound is like the sound of headphone. when I increase the volume, it notify me by a window with the same content as the window of other android phone when I increase volume too high. can you help me to solve this problem?
  2. location service doesn’t work(my computer does not have gps but I can locate me by wifi (it works well on win 8.1)). how can I locate my computer by using wifi in order to use google maps?

I use Sony Vaio pro 11, corei5 with 4gb ram.

Install alsa from the playstore and this should help increase the volume.

I can't get hdmi audio working either.  I'm thinking changing the card # in the init.sh script might help maybe you could set the alsa_ctl values in the same script for your issue.
