So a while back I've tested installing Android-x86(release version 6.0 I believe), while it was easy and satisfactory, this release had very little support with the hardware, including suspend, brightness, inverted display matrix, no touch screen.
Now I've succeeded in installing arch, however, can't do much to test the hardware and find out what exactly is missing as firmware. But in terms of usability I see an Android system being much better to use as tablet, the touch interface, ease of apps and etc.
So I would like to know from guys around what are the differences between releases and if anyone know specifically for the Z3735G chip.
I remember, seeing back a couple of months about a release that should include a lot more stuff in kernel patches related to issues people were having (if anyone can remind me, I can't find those replies anymore). So what are the differences in RemixOS and CyanogenMod?

I have the z3735f and in my experience 4.4r 3&5 are really good no freezing and 5.1 and 6.0/6.1 are just as good but freeze up.
Issues that haven't been resolved are
No sound (HDMI,speakers,headphones,ect)
No Bluetooth
The sound issue is apparently unfixable at the moment
But USB headphones or external sound cards work for sound, its a lame fix but it's something

Do you get working touch and small things like suspend though?

Yes and no sorry I forgot that suspend/hybernate/power functions do not seem to work you have to hold power to shut down. That is really the last thing that does not work.
Touch, auto rotate, etc all work. If it had sound, as snappy as it all runs it would be my daily use. But with no sound unfortunately it just waits. I am waiting on a small stereo speaker to plug into my USB soundcard but what a bunch a pain that is.

I have a Cherry Trail z8700 device. Hope to get support for that at some point.

Alright that is at least something. Just one more thing, do all things also work in 5.1 and 6.1, because in my case it didn't.
Also, have tried some alternative version like CM and that other one?
