Just to say that I can reproduce this too (Android 4.3, Galaxy Nexus -
uninstalling Ministro then reinstalling, after asking to download
libraries, then saying checking libraries, it gives "Invalid Qt version"
error).

thanks,

I just had a long chat at freenode #kde-sysadmins, they could'nt do anything about it, said it was working..
Then I tested on an older device, de-installed ministro, installed the app again and I was able to download the qt libs!
So it may not be an error for everyone.

Hi Jean,

I have just tested this on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (running Android ICS) and it worked fine - without any problems what so ever. I have also verified that we are sending the correct certificates per https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=files.kde.org

Please provide more information on the devices and Android versions you are using. Per https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=21632 the appropriate root CA certificate for our SSL provider (Startcom) has been included in Android since version 2.2 (Froyo) - so everything from that up should function fine.

Hi,

I'm running Android 4.3 on a Galaxy Nexus and have the same problem as
Jean. As well as my own apps, I've reproduced the problem with other
people's apps (e.g.,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fi.jetigames.jetex2demo ).

I can also reproduce the problem in the emulator (using a Galaxy Nexus
device, with Android 4.3), with it set up from scratch, using Ministro
v9.5. If I try the same thing but with Android 4.0.4, it works fine.

Is there a problem with Android 4.3? I don't know what version of
Android Jean is using?

thanks,

I'm also running Android 4.3 on a Nexus 4 and getting this error. It was working before I updated.

Thanks!

Can someone with access to Android 4.3 please run the keytool command
shown at https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=21632 and
verify this is the case?

Bogdan, please see
http://nelenkov.blogspot.com/2011/12/using-custom-certificate-trust-store-on.html
If you can add something similar to this in Ministro, then we can
workaround / bypass the issue completely, as Startcom will always be
trusted by Ministro.

I am running 3.2, 4.0 and 4.1 so no 4.3.
Myself I don't have the problem, ministro downloads qt libs.

Using ES File Explorer, I can't see a file
/system/etc/security/cacerts.bks on my Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.3.
There is a folder at /system/etc/security/cacerts/ . However I don't
have root access on my phone (or possibly I'm doing something else wrong
- please let me know).

In the meantime, does anyone know if it's possible to block specific
Android versions (i.e., 4.3 and above) in Google Play? Otherwise it
seems the only option for now is to unpublish applications (or risk
1-star reviews).

thanks,

Hi,

Just to say this issue is fixed for me - installing Qt apps and Ministro
from scratch results in the libraries downloading fine now on Android
4.3 (tested on my Galaxy Nexus, also fine on my new 2nd generation Nexus 7).

thanks,

I have the same issue using an emulated device (Android 2.1 on adb). Installing ministro configuration tool on this device did not fix the problem, no matter wether Testing, Stable, or Unstable was used.
