I install the extension it seams to work, but the translated field is always empty.

I try to use Openoffice and Libreoffice, the behavior is the same.

What I'm missing ?

Meaning what? What do you expect?

I expect to find the translation inside the bottom field.

But what I'm really searching for, is a tool to convert all the text in an impress document, from a language to another.

I have my .odp in Italian and I want to covert it to English, in a simple way (I don't want to translate each single phrase).

Is there a tool to do it ?

It looks like you don't understand what a CAT program is [1]. In short: such program won't translate anything, you do. However, you can enable machine translation by Google, Microsoft, or Yandex in the settings.

Then you need a machine translation program such as ProMT, but I'm not sure if that program or any other can handle ODP files.
