I have minidlan 1.1.4 on RC4, rev board B1 - DNS-323 with Alt-F.

I have an minidlna problem:

[2014/11/07 23:51:10] minidlna.c:1026: warn: Starting MiniDLNA version 1.1.4.
[2014/11/07 23:51:10] minidlna.c:294: fatal: ERROR: Failed to open sqlite database! Exiting...

I can not start it.

How did you started minidlna? From the webUI? From the command line? what command have you used? Have you edited the minidlna configuration file?

Can you use sqlite? Does the command 'sqlite3' works?

Hello,
I have manage to solve this problem.
the solution has come with Transmission. I don't know why I had "urandom" and "random" set with acess only by root.
I have granted the priviliges to all current users and both problems miniDLNA and Transmission has been gone.
Any way, thank You for help.

Regards
Martin

Not shure if that qualifies as isue but will post it here.

RC4 minidlna 1.1.4 doesn't suport mkv container. Do i need some libs or misconfugured something?

Yes, it hasn't the needed CPU horsepower for that. I think... but I might change that, as the DNS-320/325 might have

Sorry, I misread, I "read" transcode -- that can't be done.

Install minidlna on a proper computer and see if it serves the file, then fill a bug report for Alt-F, preferably with a pointer to a really small excerpt of the file.

In any case the issue is not related with this topic issue, a newer topic with a proper descriptive subject would be better.
