Not able to make changes in superset?

Hi, 

  I am new comer on the Superset. I build the Superset from the source code and it works fine. Now I'm trying to add the button on a slice to make chart downloadable as png image. So I made required changes and build with the same process but it doesn't reflect in the Superset view.

Environment :

Ubuntu : 14.04

Nodejs : v7.3.0

Npm : 3.10.10

  

   I tried to build as the same process used previously as well as with js_build.sh. No luck yet.

Hi Maxime,

If I create a table in superset which is based on View of Postgres(Manually Created a view in Postgres with the query) then I am able to share the tables that are created based on this table.With sharing the table slices and Dashboards are also get shared which are based on that table.

But if I create a Superset table with Postgres query then not able to share between roles in Superset. So my question was that is there any way to share the Superset Table which is created with the Postgres query?

I think it's confusing because you use the word "table" to talk about 2-3 different things interchangeably.

"then not able to share between roles in Superset" - what does that mean concretely?

You might want to re-read the section about security in the docs, it may help.
