Hello All,

I am still a newbie in both Google app Engine and adwords API, I had the old demo of adwords api with python client library and google app engine and I have been playing around with it since a while, currently because of the new update I get the error that I am using an old version of adwords api but I have no single clue about how to migrate to the newer version so any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Amr

Hi Amr,

I'm not sure which version you are currently using, but we have migration guides for v201306, v201309 and v201402.  Here's the guide for v201306:

If you're about to start using the API, I would definitely advocate upgrading to the latest version: v201402.  This will ensure you can take advantage of all of the latest features in the API.

Cheers,

Hi,

The Python libraries are not currently compatible with AppEngine.  We're aware of this and are working on it, but I don't have a specific date for when AppEngine support will be available.

If you don't need to use AppEngine, then you may want to try out the many samples we have on github.

Cheers,

Hello,

I am not that newbie though, I have been playing around with the library for some monthes now and the problems I usually face is not the code itself but the outer setup of the library.

So based on that I need a detailed guide on how to create a complete web solution using this python client library not just run some stuffs in a console.

Many Thanks,
Amr Abdelwahab

Hi Amr,

Could you be more specific on "a detailed guide on how to create a complete web solution"? This could mean a variety of things, from basic examples to a recommendation on architecture and design decisions. The API team can help you with questions on how to use the API, but the larger questions of how to design your application overall are up to you.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team
