Manifest merger failed : uses-sdk element cannot have a "tools:node" attribute

Hi am using android studio version 1.0.1 and gradle version 2.2.1 ,am getting this error when i try to build" Manifest merger failed : uses-sdk element cannot have a "tools:node" attribute" what can i do to get rid of this error.

remove tools:node from uses-sdk

There is no tools:node in uses-sdk!
