When I create a junit test run, by default it has Make as prebuild command.
I added also a gradle task (building some test-classes) following that, but the test run doesn't wait for it to be finished, so the preconditions that should be satisfied by that task are not there yet and the test run fails.
If I run it again it works because the previous run could finish the gradle task.

There is a simple fix meanwhile. Make sure in gradle config to disable the option that merges gradle and android studio. I forgot the name. But it is the one that enables the gradle console and all that.

You won't be able to see gradle messages in the builds or messages tab, but it well allow junit to run after the gradle task.

You can keep switching it on and off if you want. Maybe make a short cut.

Thanks, it could be enough until we have a fix :)
