What does "sc" as a VISCODE stand for? Same as "bl"?

Dear ADNI experts,

Recently, I have been looking into the MMSE.csv file, and notice that for ADNI-1, the possible VISCODE values are "sc", "m06", and etc..

However, in DXSUM_PDXCONV_ADNIALL.csv, we have "bl" for "baseline" instead of "sc". (I am talking about ADNI-1 only.)

What does "sc" stand for? Is "sc" the same as "bl"?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Cheers,
Marris

'sc' stands for 'screen' and is usually about a month before baseline 'bl'. See the schedule of assessments.

Hi group,

Tagging along this thread, what does "f" stand for? Does "f" == "bl"?! Thanks in advance.

The “f” as a VISCODE means that the person failed the screening, so that person is not in the study.

Thank you. Always makes sense in retrospect.
