General note, this whole thread is awesome. Good suggestion, Amar!
I've seen the Eisenhower Matrix described but I don't recall ever seeing it named. Now going from this thread to other info on it ... Wow, that's cool.
While right now we don't have that specific View, I'd think that simple Priority and Risk values could be used to achieve the same. Just split the two values at +/-5 and that's essentially the quadrant, just without visualization.
Dan, this area of usage is beyond me, I'm not well informed on the topics of Kanban and certainly not this Matrix, but as a developer and a user I'm instinctively feeling that two different views would be better so that fans of one are not impeded with nuances of the other.
Final note: If the plugin interface is enhanced to ensure that all data in ToDoList moves to/from to a custom plugin/view, then we have a lot more options for this sort of thing to be created in the field. The software is improved when you make specific enhancements - the whole platform and everything we can all do with it is enriched with better interfaces, as we'll be able to get the things you want to put in here and a lot more. Of course this comes back to the whole discussion about automation, but we see almost daily examples of how this sort of thing can be used. Sigh, I really need to update and publish the Library. :(
That's my 2 highly devalued USA cents, and my 2 minutes this week to annoy Dan. ;)
