Hello All,

I am installing kazoo 4.0 on centos 7. I am following the link " https://www.powerpbx.org/content/kazoo-v4-single-server-install-guide-v1 "  for installation. I am facing the issue of bigcouch service error. When I run the command  "systemctl status kazoo-bigcouch" it shows active running but also throws error  "Unit kazoo-bigcouch.service entered failed state" and " kazoo-bigcouch.service failed"..And also running the command " curl localhost:5984"   it shows  " curl: (7) Failed connect to localhost:5984; Connection refused ".

I am new on kazoo. Can anyone suggest any idea what's the issue is? or I am doing something wrong.

Thanks
Avneet Singh

It works for me.  None of the bigcouch stuff has changed for a long time as far as I can tell.

Make sure you are starting  with a clean default CentOS v7 install with default permissions.

As bigcouch throws error no bigcouch logs in /var/log/bigcouch/

Have you disabled selinux and rebooted after?

Was the bigcouch user created when you installed the RPM?

Do you have epel-release installed?

No logs probably means bigcouch is not starting at all.

You must have a fundamental problem with your OS install because it always just works for me.
