Checking, Updates & Info Needed

Good morning! Hope everyone's enjoying the summer.

Reminder our meeting to discuss logistics for the Yard Sale is on Thursday August 18th at 7pm in unit 1704 (Michelle is hosting).

Chris we will need to know if you've checked with McHugh about using the parking lot for the Yard Sale.

If there's no response on the use of the parking lot, I'll take that as being that we can't use it and then we can discuss on the 18th if we want to do something else in August or just move on to September.

If we're good to use the lot, I will invite Linda Thompson to logistics meeting (discuss donations), look into whether we need permits, draft flyer for event and pass along to committee members to comments/approval, post announcement on Doorwaze, Nextdoor.com and Everyblock.com also post a heads up to Residents on August 11th via Doorwaze, email blast and elevator post


Joanne/Charlie & Doris/Guy will be hosting the movie event on 8/14, meaning escorting anyone from the building that wants to meet them in the lobby to walk over together. I'll post to Doorwaze on 8/5 before I leave (heading out 8/6).

Joanne/Charlie & Doris/Guy - Meet Residents in Lobby (Please let me know what time you would like to meet in the lobby)

Social Committee Meeting - Thursday, August 18th at 7pm to discuss 1720 Yard Sale and 1720 Pub Crawl logistics and communication

Thanks for the info Vanessa!  I agree with Guy that we should leave at 3:00-3:15 for Shakespeare in the Park.  Our plans are to be on vacation the week of Aug. 15 so we won't be able to make the board meeting on the 18th.  I'll let you know if plans change.

Regarding the sale, we need to first confirm with our lawyer that we can invite the public without a permit. I'll check with Holly.

Thanks Chris, I was going to call and see if we needed permits and if yes, cost, process, etc. But didn't want to go through all that prior to finding out if we would even be able to use the lot.
