New invite / Accepted invite notification

Are there any plans to add the notifications for new friend invites or friends accepting our invites? It would be great if the game would let me know a friend has accepted my invite or someone sent me an invite in the notices on the main screen while I'm playing (similar to the "New Gift" notification).

It would also be nice to see a red circle with number and / or ! sign in the main menu when the game is launched if there was any new activity in the friends list while I wasn't playing.

This is a great suggestion.  I actually asked someone to add me and thought they didn't until I found the friend request by accident a day later.
