Greetings... I can see my files but the files will not open... In reading about why this occurs and checking the stylus folder on my phone, two files for the document needs to be present. One with the extension .svg and one with .html. If this is correct, I need to discover what is deleting the .html.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thank you

Unfortunately, Write documents are sometimes deleted by "cleaner" applications such as 360 Security.  Whenever I find an application that does this, I contact the developers, with varying degrees of success.  Are you using any "cleaner" apps?

Hi Matt,

Have you considered using an extension other than .html, which is generally reserved for html pages, to be opened by a browser ?
I know that Write documents may be opened by a browser, but the main purpose is to be opened by Write. I have set-up Write to use .slink extensions and it works fine on Windows. It does not work on Android, as I have not (yet) found a way to associate .slink to Write on Android. Perhaps you can add that feature.

Also, what is the usefulness of having the option to have the Single File Mode ? Do Write files get too large for a single file ? (I have it turned ON)

Thanks for a great app !

Pierre

Hi,
Are you using Write or Write Beta (recommended)

Found this in the FAQ"
----------
If the folder contains .svg files but the .html files are missing or corrupt (for example, have a size of 0), Write Beta (see next section) may be able to open the documents because it has improved handling of damaged documents.

0.5 - 1MB per page seems typical for Write documents, so a long document can get quite large.  In single file mode, the entire document must be processed when the document is loaded or saved.  In multiple file mode, only pages actually viewed need to be loaded and only modified pages need to be saved.
