Some notes on the end of week 1!

Firstly, if everyone could post back and check in that they're getting the emails, that would be great!

Secondly, retired Professor James Crews is scheduled to join us on Monday, so students, please post your questions over the weekend!  We got a good start brainstorming today, but I want to make sure that you're thinking ahead and we have some good ones in mind.

Thirdly, keep your eyes peeled, over the weekend I'll be posting resources for you to have a look at!  

To kick that off, here is the first part of a really amazing four part documentary about Shakespeare's life and times that he lived in. It does a great job of putting his works in context, and was a huge inspiration for me in organizing the workshop.

Oh, yes, I am getting them now! I have a filter to spam for messages containing 'unsubscribe' so all the dumb campaign emails don't clog up my inbox. Glad I checked them now!

• What is your experience with Shakespeare's plays?
  
• Did Shakespeare have his own unique writing and plotting style, or was that writing common at that time?

• What class of people usually acted in his plays?
